How the limits work
- The task limit is on open tasks — what is on your plate right now, whether you created it, were assigned it, or were invited to co-own it. Finishing a task frees its slot immediately, so the limit is on how much you are carrying at once, not on how much you can ever get done. Completed tasks, and the rewards recorded against them, are kept forever and never count.
- Groups count every group you own, joined, or were added to. At the limit, new ones are refused with a message saying so — nothing you already have is touched, and leaving a group frees a slot straight away.
- Email notifications cover task and group messages only. When an allowance runs out, the app carries on working normally and only the messages pause — you are told once, and they resume at the start of the next day. Sign-in codes, password resets and billing emails are never counted and never held back.
- Sharing a plan lends your allowances to up to 3 free accounts you are connected with — the task, group, notification and retention limits above. It is not a second membership: analytics, invoices and the Member badge stay with the person paying, and everyone keeps their own account, tasks and rewards. Either side can end it at any time, and it ends by itself if the membership lapses. Anyone who takes out their own membership leaves the shared plan automatically, which frees the slot.
- Crew seats are billed monthly to the crew owner, who uses one of them. Seats go to connections who accept them; anybody who already pays for their own membership keeps it instead. Adding a seat is charged for the rest of the month straight away. Removing one is only possible once it is empty, never below 10 seats, and nothing is refunded — the seat stays usable until the renewal. Members can leave at any time, and if the crew ends everybody in it moves to the Free tier with nothing deleted.
- Downgrading never deletes anything. If a membership ends, everything you created stays and stays readable — the Free limits simply apply again to anything new.
- Completed tasks are tidied away once they reach the age shown above. Rewards are never tidied away with them — anything still owed stays owed and stays payable, and every payment already made stays on your record, listed against Deleted Task.
